Broccoli is healthy vegetable because of vitamins and minerals it contains, broccoli is chock full of many natural chemicals.

Broccoli is a brilliant source of vitamin K, calcium and magnesium which positively takes effect on bone, nail and teeth health. Vitamin K helps bones to absorb calcium which is significant because high levels of calcium in the food doesn’t mean that your body absorb all of it. Broccoli has high contents of antioxidants and main of interest is sulforaphane,
which has very wide range of positive effects on human body. Antioxidants are molecules which fight with free radicals, which can damage our cells and cause multiply disease like diabetes, different heart disease and cancer. Investigations show that sulforaphane may help lower sugar level in blood, which may be useful for patients with type 2 diabetes. Therefore, it has good prophylactic influence against heart disease.
